HOLISTIC COUNSELLING
You don’t have to wait until you’re in crisis
Life doesn’t always fall apart dramatically.
Sometimes you wake up one morning and realise things feel different. You may have been holding everything together for so long that you’re no longer sure what it would feel like to set some of it down.
If you are experiencing Domestic or Family Violence, please call 1800 RESPECT
Whatever has brought you here, you don’t have to navigate this season alone.
Things may have changed in ways you never expected. Beneath the roles, responsibilities, expectations and everyday demands, you may feel less connected to yourself, or unsure of what you need now.
You might be functioning. You might still be showing up, getting things done and caring for others. Underneath it all, there may also be tiredness, overwhelm, grief, anger, numbness, uncertainty, or a persistent sense that something in your life is asking for attention.
Motherhood may have changed you. Your children may have grown. A relationship may have shifted. Birth, grief, burnout, trauma, menopause, caring responsibilities, work, illness, disability, identity change, or another significant life transition may have reshaped how you understand yourself.
You don’t need to have the right words for what is happening. You don’t need to know exactly where to begin.
Something else is possible
You can begin to feel more steady, connected and clear about what you need, what matters now, and what kind of support feels right for you.
Our sessions create space to make sense of what has changed, explore what you have been carrying, and reconnect with parts of yourself that may have had less room lately.
This work is not about becoming someone new. It is about returning to more of who you already are, while strengthening your self-trust, boundaries and freedom to shape what comes next.

Why birth debriefs matter!
Understanding, Integration & the Nervous System
Birth is not something we simply “get over.”
For many women, the body moves on faster than the mind. Memories surface later — in quiet moments, in unexpected emotional responses, or when another pregnancy begins. Questions linger. Parts of the story feel missing or unresolved.
A birth debrief offers the opportunity to gently revisit the experience — not to relive it, but to understand it.
How I work
I don’t believe you need to be fixed.
My approach is not about repairing something broken. It is about creating a grounded, compassionate and choice-led space where you can slow down, listen deeply and begin to understand what is happening beneath the surface.
In our work together, we explore what you have been carrying, the patterns that may keep drawing you back into familiar places, and the parts of yourself that may have been pushed aside while you were simply trying to get through.
My approach brings together counselling, embodied and holistic practices, conversation, ritual and deeper reflective work. With your clear and informed consent, this may also include shamanic or other transformational approaches.
No practice or modality is assumed. We discuss what is being offered before we use it, and you are always welcome to pause, decline, question, slow down, or change direction.
Your pace, boundaries, beliefs, culture, body, access needs and preferences matter in the process.
Rather than fitting you into a particular method, we follow what feels meaningful, supportive and respectful for you.
At times, the work may be about understanding what has happened. At other times, it may be about releasing what is no longer yours to carry, grieving what has been lost, reclaiming something that has been quieted, or finding a way to meet the version of yourself that is emerging.
There is no one way through. We begin where you are.
For many people, being witnessed with care can create room for change. My role is to support a space where your experiences can be heard, your boundaries respected, and your own wisdom and inner authority given room to emerge.
This work is for moments of change, uncertainty and becoming. It is for the times when life asks you to meet yourself differently, and for the journey between who you have been, who you are now, and who you are becoming.
You don’t have to know where to begin
Send me an enquiry and we can start with a simple conversation about where you are and what you’re looking for.
Let’s begin with a conversation
You don’t need to know which service is right for you. Tell me a little about what has brought you here.
A place to put it all down.
Holistic Counselling is for women navigating the messy, complicated and sometimes overwhelming parts of life: motherhood and matrescence, birth experiences, relationship breakdown, grief, burnout, trauma, identity shifts, menopause, caring roles, work stress, emotional exhaustion and those moments when you may no longer recognise yourself in the life you are living.
Counselling with me is a space to be heard without judgement, make sense of what you are experiencing, and begin finding your way forward in a way that honours your own pace, needs and choices.
80mins – $155
Your birth story happened. You don’t have to carry it alone.
Motherhood can be one of life’s most profound transformations. It can bring changes to identity, relationships, the body, the nervous system, family life and the way you understand yourself.
When birth doesn’t unfold the way you imagined, you may find yourself returning to what happened. You might be wondering what could have been different, feeling grief or anger about the experience, questioning your choices, or carrying the sense that something was taken from you.
Birth Story Reframing offers a gentle, consent-led space to revisit your experience, make sense of what happened, and explore what you have been left carrying.
This work is not about minimising harm, rushing forgiveness, forcing a positive meaning, or asking you to see the experience differently before you are ready. Some birth experiences involve grief, fear, coercion, loss of control, lack of consent, medical harm, systemic harm, or deep emotional rupture.
Those realities deserve to be named with care.
Together, we can look at the facts of what happened, the meaning you have made of it, and the beliefs or feelings you may still be carrying about yourself because of it. From there, we make room for compassion, clarity and a renewed sense of agency as you move forward.
This is a space to honour the woman within the mother, and to look at your birth story with care when you feel ready.

Remember 🌙
Returning to yourself
The foundation of your journey.
We create awareness, clarity and intention as you explore where you are now and what is calling you forward.
Before transformation can happen, we must remember.
This is the journey inward. Reconnecting with your story, your wisdom and the parts of yourself that may have been hidden beneath expectations, responsibilities and old identities.
Together we explore:
• Who have you been?
• What chapter is coming to completion?
• What parts of yourself are calling to be remembered?
• What is your inner wisdom asking you to hear?
Outcome:
Clarity about what is ending and why.
Release 🔥
Letting go of what no longer belongs
Every new chapter requires space.
This is the sacred process of releasing old beliefs, patterns, identities and emotional burdens that may have shaped you but no longer support who you are becoming.
This is where we create space for change.
Together we explore:
- What am I ready to release?
- What beliefs keep me small?
- What have I carried that was never mine?
- What survival patterns helped me once but no longer serve me?
Outcome:
Freedom from outdated patterns and beliefs.
Reclaim 🌿
Returning to your power, wisdom and authority. Release creates space. Reclamation fills it with truth.
This is where you reconnect with your gifts, your voice, your desires and the deepest parts of yourself.
This is the remembering of your own inner authority.
Together we explore:
- Who am I when I stop performing?
- What strengths have I forgotten?
- What desires are awakening?
- What parts of myself want to return?
Outcome:
A renewed sense of identity and direction.
Rebirth ✨
Embodying the next chapter
Transformation becomes real when it is lived.
This final stage supports you to integrate your experience and consciously step forward into the woman you are becoming.
A conscious beginning. A new way of being.
This is the integration and embodiment phase.
Together we explore:
- Who am I becoming?
- How do I honour this version of myself?
- What choices align with my new chapter?
- What rituals support my continued growth?
Outcome:
A grounded pathway into the next chapter.
Holistic support for NDIS participants
NDIS support is guided by your goals, preferences, access needs, communication style and pace.
This is a compassionate, choice-led space to explore emotions, build self-trust, reconnect with yourself and navigate life’s challenges in ways that feel meaningful and accessible for you.
You remain in control of what we explore, how we work, and what support feels useful. We can also discuss what adjustments may help you feel more comfortable, including session structure, sensory needs, communication preferences, pacing, support people, or online options where appropriate.
For the women who spend their days holding space for everyone else.
Working in women’s health can be deeply meaningful, and it can also ask a great deal of you.
You may spend your days supporting women through birth, loss, fertility, motherhood, trauma, illness, grief, disability, family stress, or profound life transitions. You listen, advocate, reassure, guide and hold space, often carrying more than is visible from the outside.
Sometimes the person doing the holding needs somewhere to be held, too.
This is a space for women’s health professionals who are feeling depleted, overwhelmed, emotionally stretched, or disconnected from themselves.
You may be navigating compassion fatigue, professional burnout, a difficult season in your personal life, the cumulative weight of caring work, or the realisation that you have become so accustomed to being there for everyone else that you are no longer sure how to be there for yourself.
This is not about helping you tolerate unsustainable systems or become more productive inside conditions that are already asking too much of you. It is a space to understand what you are carrying, what belongs to you, what may belong to the systems around you, and what boundaries, support or restoration may be needed.
My work brings together holistic counselling, shamanic therapies and deep restorative practices, creating space to slow down, make sense of what you are carrying, reconnect with yourself and restore the parts of you that may have been running on empty.
Any ritual, shamanic, embodied, or transformational practice is optional and will be discussed clearly beforehand. You decide what feels aligned, useful and respectful of your body, beliefs, culture and boundaries.
This is not about becoming a better version of yourself so you can return to doing more. It is about having somewhere to put the weight down.
Who I support
I support midwives, doulas, birth workers, maternal health practitioners, nurses, therapists, counsellors, support workers and other women’s health professionals.
Whether you are moving through a particularly demanding season, recovering from burnout, navigating a personal transition, or simply recognising that you need support of your own, you are welcome here.
You spend so much of your life creating supportive spaces for others. This can be a space where you don’t have to be the one holding everything.
A little extra support for those who support others
Women’s health professionals receive 20% off counselling sessions.
Invoices can also be provided for your records and may assist with determining whether your sessions are tax deductible. Please check with your accountant or the ATO regarding your individual circumstances.
The women who spend their days caring for others deserve somewhere to receive care, too.
