WEDDINGS & SACRED CEREMONIES
For the moments that deserve to be marked.
For the moments that deserve to be marked.
Meaningful life moments don’t always arrive with a ready-made tradition, a clear script or an obvious way to honour what is changing.
Still, there are times when something within you recognises the importance of a threshold: a commitment, a recommitment, an evolving love, an ending, or the beginning of something new.
Personalised sacred ceremonies for the thresholds of life, love & relationships.
Through storytelling, ritual, symbolism and meaningful words, we shape a ceremony that feels deeply personal, honest and true to you.
There is no template here. Together, we create the ceremony around the meaning.
Weddings
Your love story. Your way.
Marriage is more than a celebration. It is a threshold: a moment where two people pause, turn towards one another and consciously choose the path they will walk together.
Your wedding ceremony doesn’t need to follow a formula, sound like everyone else’s, or feel overly formal when that simply isn’t who you are.
You might be dreaming of an intimate barefoot elopement by the ocean, a big celebration with everyone you love, or something deeply romantic, beautifully simple, wildly unconventional, spiritually meaningful, or a little bit of everything. Whatever your vision, your ceremony should feel like you.
I’ll take the time to listen to your story and understand what brought you together, what matters most and how you want this moment to feel. From there, we’ll weave those pieces into a ceremony that reflects your relationship, your people and the commitment you’re making.
There can be laughter, tears, family, friends, music, poetry, cultural traditions, spirituality, irreverence and all the wonderfully imperfect moments that make the day yours.
Your ceremony isn’t a performance. It’s the moment you choose each other, witnessed by the people who matter most.
Make it mean something
I love weaving meaningful elements into wedding ceremonies, whether that’s a handfasting, a family ritual, a blessing, a sand or water ceremony, a symbolic gesture, a cultural tradition, or something completely personal that we create together.
Ritual doesn’t need to be elaborate to be powerful. Sometimes the simplest moments are the ones people remember most: a hand held, a promise spoken, a family brought together, a pause for silence, a blessing offered, or a gesture that says what words alone cannot. The meaning is what makes it sacred.
My ceremonies are warm, inclusive and personal. I welcome all couples, all stories, all beliefs and all expressions of love.
Whether you are eloping with just a few people, planning an intimate gathering, or bringing together everyone you have ever loved, your ceremony should feel authentic to you.
Based in Kingscliff, I create ceremonies throughout Northern NSW, the Tweed, Byron Bay, the Gold Coast and Brisbane, including hinterland, beach, forest and destination ceremonies. Ceremony ideas

Sand/Water Ceremony
The meaning is simple and beautiful: two becoming one. The couple mix two different colours of sand or water into one container, symbolising their lives and hearts entwined.

Stone Ceremony
This is a fantastic way to involve all of your guests within the ceremony. Each stone represents a special blessing or wish that the couple can reflect on as a life-long keepsake.

Cultural Ceremony
Whether you would like to include traditional rituals or cultural symbols, this is the perfect way to add depth and meaning to your ceremony. I am open to discussing all options!

Hand Fasting Ceremony
Handfasting (or tying the knot) is one of the oldest wedding traditions and is the symbolic act of a couple’s hands being tied together with cords or ribbons, representing their union.

Commitment Ceremonies
A deeply personal, non-legal rite of passage for two people who want to honour their love.

Vow Renewals
A vow renewal is a chance to pause, reflect on the life you’ve shared, and honour the love that continues to evolve.

Elopements
An intimate ceremony with the people closest to you, in a place that feels like yours.

Funerals & memorials
A meaningful farewell for a life that mattered. Death is one of life’s most profound thresholds.

Baby naming ceremonies
A beautiful way to celebrate your baby, honour their arrival, and mark their place within your family and community.

Bespoke ceremonies
For a threshold that matters to you, even when there is no familiar ceremony for it.

What working with me looks like
You do not have to know what the ceremony should be before we begin.
You may arrive with a very clear vision, or you may simply know that you want to mark something meaningful and have no idea where to start. Both are welcome. We begin with a conversation. I will listen to your story, what is happening now and what you want to acknowledge, celebrate, release, or step towards.
From there, we shape the ceremony together. I will help you find the words, rituals and symbolic elements that feel right, while holding the practical structure so you do not have to carry it all yourself.
You can bring me an idea you have held for years, or you can bring me a blank page.
My role is to hold the structure. You bring the meaning.
A ceremony can change how we move through a moment
We often rush through life’s thresholds. We get on with things, organise what comes next and keep carrying what has changed before we have had time to fully recognise it.
Ceremony gives us that pause.
It allows us to witness what has been, honour what is here now and consciously step into what comes next. The ritual may not change what has happened, but it can change how we hold it.
Your Moment. Your Meaning. Your Ceremony.
Whether you are committing to one another, choosing each other again, saying goodbye to someone you love, or marking a threshold that doesn’t have a traditional ceremony of its own, you don’t have to know exactly how to begin.
Based in Kingscliff, Northern NSW, I create and facilitate ceremonies throughout the Northern Rivers, Tweed, Byron Bay, Gold Coast and Brisbane.
You don’t have to know where to begin
Send me an enquiry and we can start with a simple conversation about where you are and what you’re looking for.
Let’s begin with a conversation
You don’t need to know which service is right for you. Tell me a little about what has brought you here.
A conscious choosing of one another.
A Commitment Ceremony is a deeply personal, non-legal rite of passage for two people who want to honour their love and the life they are choosing to create together.
Marriage may not be the path that feels right for you, or perhaps you have already made that commitment privately and now want to gather your people around it. Your relationship may have reached a point where you feel ready to consciously acknowledge, this is us, and this is what we are choosing.
Beyond tradition and expectation, your ceremony creates space to tell your story, speak your vows, honour the journey you have shared and mark the threshold into the next season of your relationship.
Together, we can weave in personalised storytelling, meaningful words, cultural traditions and symbolic ritual, creating a ceremony that reflects your relationship rather than someone else’s idea of what commitment should look like.
A ceremony for choosing each other, consciously and wholeheartedly.
Choosing each other again
A vow renewal is not about recreating the day you first married. It is about honouring everything that has happened since: the years you have shared, the things you have overcome, the seasons that stretched you, the family you have created and the ways you have changed, both individually and together.
Most of all, it is about recognising that after everything, you are still choosing one another.
A Sacred Vow Renewal creates space to tell the story of the love you have now, not simply the love you had at the beginning. Through personalised storytelling, heartfelt vows and meaningful ritual, we can honour the journey you have travelled and consciously step into the next chapter together.
You may be celebrating an anniversary or milestone, emerging from a difficult season, blending families, beginning again after significant change, or simply feeling called to pause and honour your love as it is today.
Sometimes choosing each other again is reason enough.
A meaningful farewell for a life that mattered.
Death is one of life’s most profound thresholds. When someone dies, there is so much to navigate, often while you are grieving. A Sacred Passage Ceremony creates space to slow down, gather the people who matter and honour the life of the person who has died.
As a Funeral and Memorial Celebrant and End of Life Doula, I create personalised ceremonies that weave together memories, relationships, values, beliefs, stories and the details that made someone who they were.
The ceremony may be traditional or unconventional, quiet and intimate, filled with stories and laughter, spiritual, secular, cultural, or somewhere in between. There is no single right way to say goodbye. There is only the farewell that feels true to the person and the people who loved them.
I also offer gentle ceremony and ritual for miscarriage, termination, stillbirth, newborn loss and the death of beloved animal companions. For these losses, ceremony can offer something words alone sometimes cannot: a way to acknowledge that this life mattered.
A deeply personal way to begin your marriage
An elopement can be a beautiful way to honour your love without the pressure, noise or expectation of a larger wedding.
Whether it is just the two of you, or a small circle of the people closest to you, your ceremony can still hold depth, meaning and reverence. Together, we create a ceremony that feels intimate, heartfelt and true to who you are as a couple.
There is no one way to begin a marriage. Your elopement can be simple, soulful, romantic, playful, sacred, grounded, or quietly powerful. What matters most is that it feels like yours.
A heartfelt welcome for your little one
A baby naming ceremony is a beautiful way to honour your child’s arrival and gather the people who will love, support and walk beside them as they grow.
Whether held in your home, garden, by the ocean, or somewhere meaningful to your family, the ceremony can be shaped around your values, hopes and story. Together, we can create a gentle and heartfelt space to name your child, celebrate their place in your family, and honour the love that surrounds them.
There is no set way to welcome a child into the world. Your ceremony can include blessings, readings, promises, family rituals, or simply words spoken with love. What matters most is that it feels true to you and your little one.
Bespoke Ceremonies
For a threshold that matters to you, even when there is no familiar ceremony for it.
Not every significant life moment comes with a ceremony.
Sometimes you know you’ve reached a turning point — the end of something, the beginning of something, a change in identity, a leaving, a return, a becoming — but there is no familiar ritual for marking it.
That’s where a bespoke ceremony can help.
Perhaps you’re marking a significant birthday, the end of a chapter, a major life transition, a move, a separation, a new beginning, a coming of age, a personal commitment, or simply a moment that feels important enough to acknowledge.
Your ceremony doesn’t need to follow a tradition or fit neatly into an existing category. It can be deeply spiritual or beautifully simple, intimate or shared, quiet or joyful, symbolic or completely practical.
We begin with what this moment means to you.
I’ll take the time to listen to your story, understand what has brought you here and explore what you want to acknowledge, release, honour or step towards.
From there, we create something that belongs entirely to you.
There might be words, music, poetry, ritual, candles, water, earth, flowers, movement, family, friends, cultural traditions or spiritual practices. Or perhaps it is simply a few meaningful words spoken beneath a tree with the people who matter most.
There is no prescribed way to do it.
The ceremony becomes a way of saying: this mattered. I am here. Something has changed. And I am ready to meet what comes next.
Because some thresholds deserve to be marked, even when nobody has given us a ritual for them.
